Who we are
Lumos is a full service dog training company. After years in the nonprofit and private dog training industry, we recognized the need to support people with busy schedules who want to train their own dog. By offering in-person training, board and trains, and online coaching, we can keep our prices reasonable and still focus on each client with modern, positive reinforcement training.
Our goal is to optimize you and your dog’s life and relationship in the most up to date, effective way possible. We provide customized training sessions, follow up support, resources like videos and info graphics, and detailed training plans after each training sessions. Training with Lumos provides you with a positive, empowering training that allows you to train your dog and reach your goals while enhancing your relationship with your dog.
Meet the Trainers
Hallie Wells, the owner of Lumos Dog Training and Behavior Services is a service dog and pet behavior expert, after nearly a decade of assistance dog training experience.
She started her career with five years as the Puppy Program Manager for a nationally accredited service and guide dog school. In addition to being the owner and head trainer at Lumos, she is currently a pet trainer at Peach on a Leash. With a focus on the VIP Development program and behavior modification. These positions have led her to offer online service dog training services and behavior consultations for dog owners and service dog users beyond the Atlanta area.
She is a certified professional dog trainer through The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers with a focus on providing modern, science based training.

Our Training Philosophy
We use force free, science-based methods to teach socialization, public access training, and service dog tasks. Food reinforcement, marker training, play, real life rewards, and management are all part of our training methods.
We teach human clients how to do all of this, too!
